The team at Calderdale Explorers have been busy organising and hosting Saturday CVLS at North Halifax Grammar over the last couple of months which have proved to be popular and well attended . CVL stands for Central Venue League and is the term for seperate teams to come together and play a round robin tournament in one afternoon with all teams playing each other once. This gives the junior players the opportunity to play small competitive games against teams from other clubs. Where there has been space we have been able to field two teams to let as many players as possible to participate.

Recent U12 CVL's have been attended by visiting teams from Barnsley Leaders , Hull Kings Scarborough Seahawks and an all girls team from Sheffield Hatters. Two U14's teams from the club have recently enjoyed CVL's against three teams from Rotherham Hawks and teams from Barnsley Leaders & West Craven Turbines .Our Calderdale Explorers Green team coming out as top team on the day winning all four games they competed in .

July sees 3 CVL's on consecutive Saturdays . All at North Halifax Grammar School between 2 and 5pm :
